Ashley Montgomery

Ashley Montgomery is a Principal's honour roll Grade 12 student at R.A. McMath Secondary School in Richmond. She has participated in various leadership conferences including the Richmond Student Leadership Conference and the World Vision Youth Empowered Conference. Ashley traveled to Costa Rica in 2009 for a humanitarian project at a school for students with disabilities, as well as attended the World Vision Leadership Retreat on Keats Island. She has accumulated a generous amount of volunteer experience over the last four years working with diverse youth and seniors. At McMath Secondary, she is a member of the Interact club, Student Council and is an executive member of the 30 Hour Famine. In addition to her leadership and volunteering activities, Ashley is also a musician and has performed at numerous major public events including the Steveston Salmon Festival Canada Day Parade, Rogers Santa Claus Parade, BC Lions and Vancouver Whitecaps half-time shows, and most recently at the Richmond O Zone Opening Night during the Winter Olympics.
