Paromita
Naidu
Trained in ballet and Bharat Natyam, Paromita combines a unique understanding
of dance traditions from the East and West. She is currently performing
as a solo artist and original works include collaborations with rock bands
and modern dance companies. Also working as a health research manager
at UBC, her interests also lie in gender and diversity issues. Volunteer
work includes: sitting as Chair of Vancouver Celebrates Diwali for the
past 6 years, and participating on several multicultural health boards.
She holds a BA, MA and MHA.
