NADHIRA - 12:30pm Singer, songwriter and pianist, Nadhira Nishaa has been mad about music for as long as she can remember. Like many musicians Nadhiras dream to become an accomplished artist has developed and shaped her style in many different ways over the years. Classically trained on the piano at Londons Royal Academy of Music, at age 9 she dove head first into music, at first influenced by the running scales of Baroque and Johann Sebastian Bach. More recently though, Nadhira has found a fondness for the music of Anggun, which carries influences from both Western and Eastern cultures. Personally, her style and her music is beyond a single genre description bending and fusing R&B, Blues, Rock, Reggae and Pop into a sound that is a reflection of the events in and around her own life experiences. Nadhira also had the opportunity to travel a lot at a young age, living in London, Brunei and Jakarata as her fathers job brought the family along. Exposed to different cultures she also discovered the depth of her music in music theory classes and learned to play drums, guitar, saxophone and violin. But her passion lay with the piano and her voice. With influences from her Classical piano background combined with Rock and Soul, she brings her own flavor and taste with the unique sounds of her mesmerizing vocals and vibes. www.myspace.com/ira01
