Q & A about the Masterclass series:
Q: I am a dancer/ movement artist. But I am interested in the Masterclass series. Can I apply for it?
A: Sure! We appreciate you’re challenging yourself and pushing your boundary. Let us know why you’re interested in the festival and your goal.
Q: If I’m in the Masterclass Series, do I need to pay for the Masterclass Series, as well as the performances’ tickets?
A: No. To support our artists in Canadian Cantonese/ Chinese theatre society, we will provide airfare and accommodation, as required, for all selected candidates from outside of Greatest Vancouver. We also provide you 3 (free too!) tickets for those 3 performances during the Festival.
Q: I can speak Cantonese. But I can’t read Chinese. Is it ok if I join the Masterclass series?
Q: I can barely speak/ understand Cantonese. Can I still apply for the Festival?
A: Yes, please. We appreciate and fully support our artists if they’re going to step out their comfort zone. Let us know more about you and the reason why you want to join the masterclass series in your letter of intention.
