Join artist, Lam Wong for a talk, tea ceremony and dialogue at Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden in Chinatown. We will sit around the tea table, tasting teas, having conversation about tea, eastern philosophy, art and culture. Garden visitors who have paid for gate admission will be able to enjoy this activity.
Lam Wong is a visual artist, curator, designer and enthusiast of eastern philosophies whose family background has revolved around the art of tea for over 16 generations. Continuing these traditions of Chinese style tea ceremony (GongFu Cha) and tea meditation, guests are invited to participate in aesthetic dialogues through spiritual and cultural communion. The journey goes from light to dark tea, over two hours, with periods of looking, drinking and discussing.
