Margaret Gallagher

Margaret Gallagher is the MC for the gala. She will be hosting the event from 7:00pm to the end. In April 2010, Margaret took the reins as host of CBC Radio One’s Hot Air, CBC’s longest running radio program. Margaret has been a regular part of CBC Radio One’s The Early Edition since 2001, and was the BC host of CBC Radio 2’s Canada Live.

Alireza Ahmadian

Alireza Ahmadian is the emcee for the first part of the gala from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. He is an enthusiastic researcher, opinion commentator, political analyst, journalist, and strong advocate for liberal democracy. Alireza is the director at ARA Media Productions Ltd.
